Need opinions on the ead 1000 amp?

I have an offer to trade a new ead 1000 for a pair of speakers.Can anyone tell me about its sound quality on two and multi channel,and does it put out more power when used in two channel?Anything positive or negative would be helpful as i have never heard this amp.

No personal experience here, but I was told that in 2 channel mode you get a whopping 1000 watts/ch. at 8 ohms. Must have a motha power supply! EAD makes some great stuff; do some research, this could be a very good thing.

EAD PM1000 is one of the best. I have PM500 and it is great,
but PM1000 even better, so now I regret I didn't get it instead of PM500. You can check eadforum.cjb.net and www.audioreview.com/reviews.
