Which HT Receiver would you buy?

The Outlaw Audio 1050 provides a lot of receiver for the money, mainly because you buy direct from the factory with no middle man. I have heard the Outlaw only briefly, but thought it sounded very good for the money. You can order the Outlaw for a 30-day home trial and return it if you are not satisfied.

The NAD sounds better than the Yama.

Check out the Onkyo Integra DTR-5.1 or 6.1...

why dont you look at the denon 3801? it is in your budget and offers more features. it does a nice job for movies and background music. as with swampwalker. would not put it as 2 channel pre.

I owned a Sony TAE-9000ES for a while. That is a very nice pre-amp that can be purchased used from time to time for around $800.00. You will need a seperate 5 channel amp with this piece. That would probably set you back another five or six hundred in the used market. Good luck!!!
