What do I add to make my system HT ?

I run two channel PSB goldi with 5350se creek integrated amp and Mcintosh mc205 cd. Can I hook a surround processor or reciever into my existing setup and switch back to my 2 channel setup when I'm not watching movies. Any recommendations? What would you add to my existing system to make it work? thanks

Easy. Feed the preamp-level outputs of the front L/R channels of the receiver/processor into a spare line-level input on the Creek. A HT bypass input if it has one or, alternatively, another but make sure you always have the VC at the same spot all the time for HT.

Add speakers, stir and go.

I ran into the same problem when putting my system together and I came up with a few solutions.
1. Run a good reciever and use the speaker outputs as your pre-amp which will allow you to control what speakers are being utilized by what speaker mode(stereo, 5.1, ect.) you have selected. You can take this one step further and buy a yamaha reciever which has 5 channel stereo
2. Use a surround processer and a/v selector box to switch the imput signal going to your amp.
3. Turn off the surround amp when listening in stereo
I hope these ideas help point you in the right direction
If I'm getting this right, then if I was to purchase a Nad T773,arcam avr300 or dennon 3805 any of these would be all I would need not counting center speaker and rears? Any preference on which of the 3 would serve me best with my particular system?
