I'm convinced-just ordered Black Mamba

Congrats on your new power cord. I've owned Black Mambas for almost a year and find them to be outstanding at their price level. Wanted to let you know that these cords can take a while to fully break in. Mine started sounding good at 250 hours but took about 500 hours to reach their 'full' potential. But man was it worth the wait! At some point in time, I hope you have the opportunity to try a King Cobra. It will take your system to a new level. Enjoy...

Thanks Chucky,Just love it when someone understands where I'm coming from;as in; from under a rock.But hey that can change.Only been at audiogon a week.T H E solution for us old guys who don't get out(or above ground)that much.The other p c is master ref.I am also not sure where your best p c should go.Right now out of Jadis 7mkiv is were mine is.Music direct or cable co carry these p c's Jaguar says 250 /500hrs burn in? eeyiks,my viagra worked faster than that.Thanks for the post,need all the help I can get-but hey you already know that.

I find that the best place to put powersnake powercords is in your front end ,matter of fact I find it dramatic also the same goes for the synergistic powercords

I purchased a used Mamba Cord from usedcable.com for $250. I found this cord works well with my Pass Aleph P Pre Amp. Although I thought it was supposed to be broken in, I found after 2 weeks the Pre amp lost any coloration that was once there(before the cord) and the noise level dropped significantly. I did however find that I need to change out a pair of interconnects that went from Preamp/amp. Although powersnakes web page says there cords don't make your system bright it sure made some sonic differences. So I replaced some Audioquest cables with some smoother AIR 2 cables by tara labs. I couldn't be more pleased. I hope some day I can be rich like some of you guys or girls here and buy a Black Maumba or Cobra. hehe
