chucky
I don't think we have seen you around for a while Chucky. Good to see ya mate! I like the Kimber Select KS2020 - whatever. Detail resolution is very fine (D60 sounds unacceptably smeared in comparison) and bass power is considerable. No doubt there are better, but it is definitely good.
Hi, I'm very satisfied with the Kimber D-60 from my McCormack SST-1 transport to Genesis Digital Lens and also a D-60 to my Camelot Technologies DAC. Good Luck, regards. Redkiwi I'll have to try the KS2020.
Donjf - I like the D60 and don't see a lot of reasons for you to upgrade if you have already invested in the D60 - the money is probably better spent elsewhere. I have both (and some others) and it is only in a direct comparison with the KS2020 that it is hard to give up the extra fine detail resolution of the Kimber. And the KS2020 is a lot more expensive.
Best results I have had is using a Van Den Hul "The First" Interconnect as a Digital Cable. There are some reviews on the magazine reviews recommending this. It is where I got the idea from. Some links on their web site.
I find NBS digital cables to be very accurate and EXTREMELY neutral. Their better cables are big bucks, though.
