HT Pro Silway II vs. HT Truthlink

My system includes Linn Ikemi, Plinius 8150, B&W Matrix 803s, HT Pro9 biwires and Truthlink ICs. I'm considering moving to the Pro Silway IIs.

I'm looking for a bit more transparency and detail without losing the great musical nature of this system. I'm also new to high-end.

Thanks for your comments. Joel

I have owned both cables and in my system the Pro Silways did the upper end fantastically well, very very detailed yet smooth and nonfatiguing in a way that was not exactly like, but analogous to, switching from digital to vinyl, my ears and whole head just went ahhh... Unfortunately there was also a loss of bass tightness in my system. I have small monitor speakers and I cannot afford to lose any bass slam so I went with the Truthlinks which don't really do anything exciting as far as I'm concerned but work for me precisely because they don't do anything negative either. I'm still looking for an interconnect with that awesome treble from the Pro Silway and the slam and richness of the Truthlinks...
I too owned & used both these cables & found the truthlinks to be smoother overall but rolled off in the higher freqs. The Pro-Silways did indeed add more detail with extended freq. response but were too bright in my system. Nothing else was changed at the time. I wound up going with Stealth FLR & CWS after these & have been pleased.
Try the Magic interconnects by H. Tech. They have every quality you desire in abundance. If they are too pricey, wait for them at Audiogon.
