biamping.. better long ICs or Speaker Cables?

Question-
when bi-amping.. is it better to use long ICs or Speaker Cables?
My inclination is that the Speaker cable guys are in the business of long cables while the IC guys are not. And that one would not want to amplify corrupted IC signals.

But how long is 'too long' for ICs?

Any thoughts?

HI,
SHORTER SPEAKER WIRE & LONGER IC IS THE TICKET. LONGER SPEAKER WIRE TENDS TO ALTER FREQUENCY RESPONSE & DOES ROB AMP POWER & LESSEN CONTROL. PASSAGES ARE LESS DYNAMIC, CRESCENDOES SOUND RESTRICTED WHEN USING LONGER SPEAKER WIRE & SHORTER IC.
I'M USING 3 FT SPEAKER WIRE & 2.5M IC.
I have long ICs and short spkr. cables. My ICs are 6 meters each and spkr. cables are 6 ft. each. I have no problems with RF or EMI and no problems with too much capacitance or resistance. YMMV.
I'm throwing this into the mix.. I was just reading my Mapleshade catalog, and he is firmly in the
-LONG Speaker - SHORT IC- camp.
