Jolida JD 100. How does it sound?

I'm looking for some input from people who have heard the Jolida JD100 cd player. how does it sound? Are the modifications worth the money?

I also have a Meridian 508.24 that I treasure and the Jolida I got a couple of months ago for a second system, though it doesn't have all the dynamic punch, certainly holds its own along side the 508 with tremendous musicality and detail.
