About a year ago I listened extensively to the Amati Homage with CJ Premier 8 monoblocks and Spectral monoblocks. While I'm a tube kind of guy in general, I thought that the Spectrals did not mate well with the Amati's. I far preferred the CJ's and I'm not fond of the CJ house sound.
