Cables more hype than value?

why is the question generating so many responses.

it seems the dead horse has been killed several times.

the number of responses seems to me totally out of proportion to the subject.

if companies exaggerate the claims of their products, the consumer will eventually find out and the company will lose business.

is audiogon an outlet for audio "yentaism" ?

Anyone remember the old Tales from the Crypt with the cable guy? Abel with the cable? Would be a good slogan.

I think you get more enjoyment out of this site than anyone. Did you see the thread with the washing machine. I laughed so hard I thought I cracked a rib. I'm still sore and its been 2 days.
