Best Used SET tube amp. under $1000

I second the Fi X (preferably with Magnequest transformers. Alternatively, the Bottlehead Paramour monos with Foreplay pre would be an excellent choice as well.

I realize it's an SEP rather than an SET, but my Almarro A205A MkII sounds great with my Druids, and even with new tubes and upgraded output caps comes in well under $1K. It includes a volume control if you need it in your single source scenario.
