Powering up amp

I know this has been discussed in past. What is the correct order of powering up/down the amp. Thanks

I also conclude all amp circuits aren't the same.--YMMV

In other words no music playing....... Otherwise sure when the Amp is turned off it will continue playing music until the caps in the power supply are bled off and no longer supply power.

Turn off sequence: Turn down volume, turn off power amp, turn off preamp. If you still get noise, there is something wrong with your power amp. You should have it checked out.
