Which inputs sounds best RCA's or XLR's. I know that they are not a full balance design, so may be the single ended inputs will sound better than XLR's? Odyssey Owners. Did any of you experiment on these? Thank you
I didn't ever notice a difference in sound between the XLR and RCA inputs on my Stratos amps. I do like the way the XLRs plug in. Better connection and connector, IMHO.
I use single ended on mine and have been happy. I have heard where some have found that using XLR's has resulted in a hum. As these units are not "true" balanced I would suspect that when the XRL's are used a ground loop has been introduced into some systems. If you can brough a pair of XLR's give them a try and see how "your" system reacts.
