Help to complete a system

You might want to check out some of the award winning integrateds for under $1000 that have won awards recently.

The Peachtree Nova and Rega Brio-R come to mind.

Others with experience with these speakers can comment on whether those 2 recs would be powerful enough, though that would depend in part on the volumes you listen at and the size of your listening space.

Music Fidelity integrateds could be a good call if you need a bit more power than what I recommended above (on reputation and reviews alone).

I would go with the Naim. Excellent sounding.

I have heard very good things about the Nait5i and Musical Fidelity's M3i but have no idea of their sonic signature. Never listen to any of them.
The Naim is said to be special...

Also had the Marantz PM8004 as a good choice, cheaper, powerful and with a phono input.

Some people say the Brio tends to be bright with the X12s. Is that so?

I guess 50w would be the minimum for the room in question.

Two more votes for Nait 5i and for my current favorite, the Rega Brio R. Don't know how the Rega will drive your Dyns, but it does a great job with my Spendor SP1/2e. Warm, musical, great drive, gorgeous midrange. A winner!
