What artist or music do you like, that generally you won't play around your wife or friends/family, because you may fear mockery, or not enjoy it, out of being misunderstood, because they don't/wont "get it"
sorry for the wrong use of quotation marks.
Be brave and tell..
OR.... maybe it's just me, and I'm too self conscience.
Here's one of mine.
Antonio Carlos Jobim
I think he was great,my wife looked at me like I'm nuts and was starting to like elevator muzak.
Picked up Madonna's "Immaculate Collection" the other day at a record show, just to hear the Q sound effects. They did rather well on this one. Yes, I'll listen to her on occassion. I'll try just about anything once.
I bought George Michael's Listen without Prejudice after hearing him sing Praying for Time on American Idol. Great lyrics but the disk is for lack of a better word weirdly recorded. I don't know how else to describe it. It's sounds like hi-fi AM radio. There's a thinness to it that I've never heard before. It's sounds like something's missing. Some of the other songs are not bad but he should have done a lot better on production.
