Can you recommend some good Christmas Jazz? I was listening to "A Charlie Brown Christmas," the other day and realized I don't have any Christmas Jazz. I'm thinking about classic jazz stylists (the real deal not elevator easy listening stuff). Any hard bop? Thanks
George Shearing, Mel Torme, Dave Brubeck, and Oscar Peterson all have jazzy Christmas CD's on the Telarc label. If you like big band jazz, there was an album of Mobil Fidelity a number of years ago, but I can't remeber title.
