Earl Scruggs dies at 88

Mr. Scurggs was a great player. Probably one of the best. He starred in a duo with Lester Flatt. I remember seeing them in concert and hearing their records played in my home as a boy. They played bluegrass and country when country was country and not rock and roll with a twang in disguise.

Earl was a musical giant and a humble man. His contributions to country music will never be forgotten.
