PAL Format Video vs. VHS NTSC

I have a PAL Format video that I want to play in the United States. Since I cannot play a PAL Format on my VHS NTSC video tape player(Canada & USA, what can I do? Can I buy a Video player (in the USA) that reads the PAL Format? Is there a USA unit that converts PAL Format video to VHS NTSC format? What about DVD's? Can an International DVD be used in a USA DVD Player? Thanks
