A challenge to the "measurement" camp
^^^ The short answer is no, but I don't think you understand either.
A challenge to the "measurement" camp
Just a 20hz to 20khz sweep from your speakers. Use two different speaker cables in the same system and room. I can tell from that which gives the flattest response which will be the best cable. Things are not as simple as you think.  No cable w...

I don't get the "bashing the synergy" from him.  Surely he listened to tubes before.  For example, most people use tube pre-amp, and solid state amp to take the advantage of synergy between them.Or if for example you have a upfront speaker, then y...
Who says cables don't make a difference?
By the way, I am not boxer12.  I just want to "rectify" that misinformation :-).
A challenge to the "measurement" camp
You give some measurements and I decide which is best? Go ahead give me some measurements on two different cables and I'll pick the best. OK, which measurement parameters are you inquiring?
A challenge to the "measurement" camp
I notice a lot of anti-cable youtube/websites tend to gravitate toward Belden cables.  Are they all being paid by Belden?
Who says cables don't make a difference?
P.s. Andy electrons always move. Maybe not far but they always move. Interconnects do not really heat up ... So not much friction. Any idea of the current densities? I forgot you "copy and paste" from the best so my hats off to you.  P.S.  Heat...
good discussion on power cords
^^^ OK, whatever, so you're a pretty good at copy and paste.
Who says cables don't make a difference?
Are atdavid and roberttdid the same dude?
good discussion on power cords
^^^ Well it seems like you're disagreeing with Charles Hanson who is actually a real designer ... sigh ... face palm ...Your description of rectification and modulate makes me laugh so hard.  I suppose until you understand the difference between "...
Who says cables don't make a difference?
Care to tell me what "moves" in a cable during break in? Electrons, copper molecules ... to name a few.  And they move because of heat and friction ... just like the cylinder rings changing its property due to heat and friction.
Who says cables don't make a difference?
^^^ So are you calling "engine break-in" is also a myth?
Which is more important in transmitting the sound, the information...
For A) for max information transfer? For B) for shaping sound? This is too ambiguous.  What do you mean by "information transfer"?And what do you mean by "shaping sound"?  I don't even know what those mean.  As for "max information transfer", th...
good discussion on power cords
but I think we can state pretty unequivocally that the goal of the power supply is to isolate the output (audio) from the input as best as possible. I would disagree with that statement.  There is really no "isolation".  They are all related. ...
Who says cables don't make a difference?
I haven’t heard of engine break-in , in at least 25 or 30 years. They used to have break-in oil. That’s really going back. One time I was test driving a brand new BMW M3, the car salesman sitting next to told me if I ever rev the engine above 4K,...
