| Speakers, speaker cables or I’m getting old… The audio chain is only as strong as its' weakest link. While I wouldn't say cables are a tone control, they certainly have a bearing on the overall projected sound. If you have nice gear, crappy cables can stand out like a sore thumb. | |

| Stereophile review of the $30,000 tekton speakers So much Tekton hate on here. It's unfortunate. I own a pair, btw....They're well worth the cost, but in the end, I outgrew them and moved on. I certainly think they're worth their asking price. I just chose to go in a different sonic direction. | |
