New Breaker Box-Should I upgrade?
I don't  think  a larger box would improve your existing lines you aren't  drawing  anywhere near 150 amps at any one time. If you have ideas of a future project that will require more lines all I can say is the price won't be cheaper in a few yea...

I have used tmr and music direct. Music direct is new gear but they offer trial period and no questions returns, just pay shipping on return.

Must have been 2001 we had a 2002,2003 and 2004 Chevy pickups at work and none of them had brake problems.

There's also thunderbolt 3 which uses the same USB-C connector as the newer USB versions 3.1, 3.2  but they are different speeds and not all cables support the same standards,  yada, yada USB is a mess.

I use bluOS which is part of Lenbrook Group, which  might not be the size of Harmon I don't  know  but they do a good job of keeping  the app and OS updated.

I'm a little  confused by the OP's point what exactly  does he need help with? My take on you experience is you didn't  care much for McIntosh but liked Parasound. Not sure if it's  the McIntosh sound or the other components and room or just the w...

Might get some suggestions of good amps that match your speakers from those who have heard or own them  if we knew what speakers you're talking about.  
New Place - What Would You Do?
For a different  approach I would look at the Ohm 5000 for the large open area. Just something to consider they are supposed to work good in large areas that aren't perfect.
