Volti does it again!
Greg has some pretty epic roads all around him, I got to experience them first hand, I'm a bit envious. Here in NE Ohio one has to drive a bit to get to them. They are great especially in the southern part of the state.  For those considering a v...
Need Guidance for Next/Last Pair of Speakers
Brothers and sisters here on AG are probably going to start hating me for this, but I vote Volti Audio. the Razz fits right in the budget. Also from what you desire, the Volti sound meets and will likely exceed your expectations. I am similar in s...
Volti does it again!
Like my dad used to say. It’s more fun to drive a slower car quickly than a fast car slowly.  I enjoy every moment in my 2002 (NB) Miata. Never feel like I get to drive it enough. After a hard workday it’s the perfect antidote. Jump in and pretend...
Volti does it again!
Since Greg brought it up, he's a legit car guy too. It was fun to share our mutual enjoyment of a ragtop blast. Mine is a Mazda MX5. Greg has one too. He's no joke while driving, had a blast carving up the country roads with Greg.
Borresen Loudspeakers
I listened to the X2's at FLAX last weekend and thought they sounded quite good. It would have been nice to listen to some music other than demo stuff at warp factor 12. According to the rep they are made all in house, drivers and all. I felt the ...

@whoopycat  now that’s what I’m talking about! Is there anything better than a speaker that makes you jump up and get excited? When I brought mine home that house was shaking for days, just couldn’t help it.
Volti does it again!
@hilde45  Agreed, 0 flexibility is not ideal. Not sure if that’s due to being burned in the past. When I worked at the only real HiFi shop in my town, my boss similarly was a bit rigid after the sale. I can say for sure his reasoning was getting b...
Volti does it again!
@wolf_garcia I agree completely, especially given the amount of money involved. For me it was a leap of sorts to take the pretty long drive down to Volti to listen and make my decision. No doubt some psychology was involved on my part, “ well I’m ...
Volti does it again!
@2psyop my current set up. Volti Razz, Cary SLI80HS integrated, MoFi ultra deck with Hana ML, Parasound Jc3 jr phono pre, Line Magnetic LM 24 disc player. When I talked with Greg the sensitivity of the new model was higher than the Razz, 98db I be...
This weekend, Feb. 16-18th - 2024 Florida International Audio Expo
@orchardaudio  I really enjoyed stopping by today. You had an awesome sounding set up there. I will definitely be back tomorrow. My mind was blown at how much I enjoyed your class D amp.
Looking for recommendations for integrated with a more “organic” sound.
Thank you @dvujovic ! I agree completely on the ACRH3. It really is a solid musical amp. I also heard that slight hiss, I noticed it when no music was playing, and between tracks. I was able to reduce that somewhat by swapping out the stock input ...

I am really interested in the PS audio integrated. Price is good too.. may be my way into class D. Apologies to the OP, a little sidebar.

That's a very good point @tweak1  I am intrigued by the Technics. I think the 700 and it's bigger brother are fine looking pieces and from what I read, sound wonderful. I've been hesitant to try a class D or any variation, maybe I'm showing my ag...
Floorstanding speaker experiences/recommendations in the $12-25k range
If i had around $20k for a pair the choice would be easy for me. Volti Rival.
My Four Favorite SS Amps
I have two to report. This was in the early days for me. Early career = little disposable dough.  Proton D1200 and the Threshold 400A Regret selling them both even though since the Threshold, it's pretty much been valves for me.
