Lamm 1.2 ref or tenor 175s
LAMM/Kharma/Purist Audio cables - always a great match. You are lucky to be able to have it.
Vinyl cleanliness
It's also static; you can't get rid of it completely.Japanese vinyl is usually very quiet.

Jealousy or envy, Elizabeth?

Elizabeth, perhaps you also want them to rescue you.I listen for about 500 hours a year, that includes what was recorded in digital. Collections of this size are incredible.

All right. Thank you everyone. I will try Mapleshade 4" with their footers and will have brass cones for comparizon.Over $200 for a piece of wood, oh, beg your pardon, air-dried hand-selected Amish craftsmen made piece of wood.
Potential cartridge for a Kuzma rig
I see, I got confused about your set-ups a little. In any case, it appears that Dyna work reasonably well with many arms and tables. It does OK (10X5) with my Spacedeck/Spacearm too but I am going to experiment with Goldring 1042 MM before possibly...
Phono Input or new Phono preamp?
This is none of my business but I am starting to be concerned about your expenses. It can get out of hand very fast. Careful.

Dynavector is recommended for just about anything as if there was nothing else. Frankly, there are not many for $1k new, used - that's another story.

Anyone used Polycrystal amp stand under turntable or tape deck?
True Analog LPs versus Digital Recordings
I have one album which was recorded in analog in 1987 both on original Japanese cd and original Japanese LP. Mastering was done in digital. My analog set-up is a bit better than digital. You know what? While the record sounds a little better, its ...

Right. Stanwal, thank you. There is virtually no vibration coming from the floor so it seems that both coupling and decoupling should work. I think, I'll try brass cones first.I wonder if anyone tried platforms made of other wood, say, oak, cherry...

Do I want to couple or decouple? You mentioned cones and bearings. What about Walker things, you know, those three massive cones going into led-filled discs and two more discs on top?

Granite...Would look like kind of cemetery. To clarify one thing. The woofers of my speakers are way above the floor level, and I get least vibration near the floor so all of my equipment is right down there.
