| Cables, just as important as a hi end component? When I wanted to add a new set of IC’s I bought five pairs of AQ’s Silver Extremes. $100/pair from HCM. They look nice and sound fine! I make no claims that they are sonically better than the old set - Verion Triaxials ($30/pr 1977). | |

| DL103R- I’m sure it’s been said before… Matching an mc cartridge and SUT is always problematic. I have a Denon 103R on the Pioneer PLX1000 with a Bellari SUT. This combination sounds fine to me! Others may disagree! YMMV! | |

| Bob Carver C-500 worth restoring and/or upgrading?? Audio Classics has been in business since at least 1990. Around that time I bought a nice PS Audio PS IV preamp from them. I bought the restored SAE Mark XXX several years ago - including the nice wood case! They do good work! | |
