How Electricity Actually Works Would it be possible for the primaries here, in what I find to be a "very interesting" debate! To attempt a simple step or two back to take a breath, reset and recompose?? I am sure you both realize the typically futile "rabbit hole" that some wo...
How Electricity Actually Works Ha ha ha ha ha.... He is just so "deluded"! Frequencies of concern? How about, "Field interactions"? All of those pesky stray particles from simply wave diffraction. Particle Scatter from wave beaming crosstalk? Crosstalk from inductive winding...
How Electricity Actually Works I watched the first video quite a while ago. This one was great as well! The initial video put a lot out there that needs to be out there. It was one of the first things widely available, which I could agree with on the subject in quite a while t...
Sad to say I need a new amp… If you love the sound of that "Mesa", you will be sorry if you do not have them fix and also go through it as advised! (Speaking from exp. over here)... And I am STILL sorry I sold that set of (50 Cal.) amplifiers from Mesa way back in 1989! Gr...
Cheap Speaker "Isolation" Solution for 300 lb. Speaker UM...Hee hee, I never stated the weight of the "speaker/s" I was at that time working with. "Oop's" Sorry! Would a source selector switch degrade sound? "Yes", Such a device will affect the sound of the system. There is simply no way around that. And the better the system? The more detrimental those effects shall be. I looked into this awhile back for a friend who couldn't see any other "real" ...
Cheap Speaker "Isolation" Solution for 300 lb. Speaker I am wondering if the, "O.P." ever had any luck. I have had the same problem with heavy speakers. Sorbothane "will" actually work. But "IMHO"? They are well worth the extra cost involved. I have been using these since first finding them in the early ...
Baltimore MD 2005 the OP first posted this thread.Wow. Old thread! Maybe I missed it, "As I was scrolling through real quick" but there is a well established "Audiophile" club in MD already. With a few hundred members!Yet I saw no mention of it here. And with ...
How many watts?? The "OP" probably never gets past that 1st watt....Almost all here fail to recognize just how much actual energy a transducer can output at (1) full watt. OR just how often all that they are listening to normally? All is supplied by that 1st in...
Preliminary DIY Grounding Box Result So, "Tecknik", You mean they use a percentage of silver from the (box) to where you are introducing that piece of gear into your homes grounding system correct? Like at the receptacle. Or are you going to the panel? Or to the grounding electrode o...
Preliminary DIY Grounding Box Result Honestly, the project is currently sidetracked. I "know" that we currently do not understand particle field mechanics OR even grounding enough to understand more than a tiny bit of "why" these work. "IF they even do"!But:After seeing the interior ...
Helping a kid out I just have to ask. Is the young fellow (In point of fact). "So inclined", to do all that is required and involved with the gift of an "Electronic parts kit"? I ask because many, "Nearly all", seem suddenly bewildered when I bring up the fact that...
