Why is black so popular for components? Black for me, BECAUSE I can see the dust more easily... therefore I keep it cleaner. Also, Black is more uniform. As someone in the printing business, I know that blacks are much more easily matched and stable in color. Whites are the most difficul...
Unbelievable 3-D imaging sound Preslisa64, thx for the clarification. After not finding a song with that title from 2cellos, my search did turn up Mr and Mrs Cello. Very nice!

Distortion using Node 2i as streamer with Denafrips Pontus Dac Have you tried the using the internal DAC to see it the distortion still appears? If it does, then the streamer section itself is suspect... not compatibility with external DAC(s).Try connecting with the analog/RCA output and see what happens.

Does your pet listen to your system? Of all my pets, only the boxer is really into music. When I start listening, she'll sit upright, in the sweetspot and stare straight ahead, ears twitching occasionally when things move about the soundstage.
Whats on your turntable tonight? Simao, I liked Tea for the Tillerman² quite a bit. Although I liked the pure acoustic guitar that was prevalent in the original album, I appreciated the more complex mixing done on the new version.
Whats on your turntable tonight? Simao, I may be guilty to listening with my emotions, since Tea for the Tillerman (1970) was released when I was a teen in the turbulent late 60's and early 70's. I'll give it a critical listen soon and tell you how the recording quality is.
