BEST TUBES FOR AUDIO RESEARCH PRE-AMP (LS-16)
I think the Gold Lions are smoother (less bright)....which is to my liking...and still detailed...nice midrange... how much of an upgrade an LS-26 or LS-27 would be.   If its not broke, why fix it?

Is low cost DAC worth it?
Denafrips Aries II: first choice Schiit Bifrost 2: second choice Nothing less.
What DAC to buy?
A good starter DAC for the price stated, Denafrips Aries. Nothing less. May be the last DAC you`ll ever buy.

listening to music is a dream for hours long I would keep the Harbeths and ditch the Kefs. NO need to change speakers from what you stated. Just take a break from listening. Or, listen to a table radio for a while. If you want to change anyth...
Leaving my amplifier on ok?
MANUFACTURERS Recommendations are the only ones worth seriously considering Good point. I have had some manufactures advise to "leave on" ss components, and to "turn off", when not using for a while.
