Battle of the Older DAC
@decooney i would recommend the Gustard R26. I think it's a really good dac for the money.
What did you add to your 2 channel system to do HT?
@bugredmachine You had some nice stuff sitting in boxes.  It's great that you're able to use it!  :)
What's my best upgrade options
The OP didn't mention streaming, but that was my first thought.  Before I bought my Innuos Zen Mk3 streamer, I used my Denon DCD-1700NE sacd player more than anything.  I tried the vinyl route. Spent around $4500 on a TT, Hana cartridge, and Suth...

@yyzsantabarbara I traded it in to Coda.  Doug knew the condition of the amp.  I don't know if they typically do that sort or thing, or not.  Mine was in mint condition, so maybe he wanted it for other reasons.  There are no dealers anywhere near ...

Doug Dale with Coda could give you an estimate to re-cap it if you wanted it done by them (assuming they have time to do it now).  About a year ago, I was told $450 + shipping  to recap my older Continuum Stage.  It was still functional, but the t...
For Gustard R26...which bang for the buck: DDC or LHY OCK clock?
@oddiofyl Wow.  Looks like they can make just about anything. I'm guessing it's a much better deal than a branded audiophile cable.
For Gustard R26...which bang for the buck: DDC or LHY OCK clock?
@oddiofyl I'm really happy with my OCK-2.  My son and I both feel that my system sounds as good as it ever has.  His hearing is excellent, so I often get his opinion. What did you order for cables?  I'm using RG400 cables that I found on eBay.  M...
Personal Turntable Evolution
1) BSR table in the late 70's. 2) Drawer loading Pioneer in Mid 80's..  Don't recall the model number. 3) Onkyo Integra CP-1057F. 4) Music Hall MMF-5. 5) Marantz TT-15S1
What do I need?
@soix I'm doing that with the 2 rear channels for my home theatre. I Bluetooth the rear channels to a Denon integrated amp.  I know where to set the volume on the Denon.  It serves no other purpose other than driving the rear channels, so I just l...
Tune of the Day
UFO - Lights Out.  Kickass album and decent recording.  Not an audiophile reference, but great tunes.
End of a long quest to vanquish sibilance.
@stuartk   I should have read the rest of the post before I questioned it.  Glad you got it figured out.  Sibilance absolutely drives me nuts.
Are REL the most Musical Subs?
I think that if the post had read "what is your preferred subwoofer for music?" a good number of people would have said REL.  I've watched a number of review videos and many people feel that REL is the best choice for them.  Lots of very positive ...
End of a long quest to vanquish sibilance.
@stuartk  I just thought that it would confirm that it was the pavers causing the sibilance.
End of a long quest to vanquish sibilance.
Maybe this was asked, but if you put the pavers back where they were, does the sibilance return?
3.0.2 Innuos sense app update
