Manley Chinook Minor42, one more thought or story to leave with you. I am not in any way affiliated with Manley, nor do I have any Manley gear, but I want to pass along a personal experience with Manley. A few years ago, I was designing a recording studio and s...
Manley Chinook @asp307, My friend was the person in contact with Manley. He was pleased with the service at Manley and loves his Chinook.
Manley Chinook I set up a friend’s stereo in Dec 2015 that included a Chinook purchased directly from Manley. After a couple months it developed the same problem as you and Matt Miller described. Manley repaired it under warranty by installing a new board. The r...
mint best tractor gone? I really hoped to use a Mint protractor for my newly built rig. I spent three months earlier this year inquiring about two tonearms and never got a response. I had to conclude he was no longer in business.
What's the greatest bargain in SET these days? I used to own DeCapos and paired them with a Line Magnetics 218IA in a 3,000 sq. ft room. The LM 845s, the 218ia, 518 and 219 could be a consideration for you. LM SET amps overdeliver in their power ratings. The 218IA is a bargain in SET amps. The...

Reference 3A line updated After months of research for efficient bookshelf speakers, I was ready to pull the trigger on the DeCapos. That is until I saw the new line. The tweeter and extra bracing are nice upgrades. Far more important than the exterior coating. Curious why...
Bookshelf speaker with electrostatic sound Thanks all. Definitely good options. I hope to listen to a few of them in the next couple weeks. I may also give the Clue a listen to since they're made here in my back yard. Unfortunately more than my budget new.
