Need advice on my Parasound JC 1
Maybe you are expecting too much bass from a 6.5" woofer? Or it could be your room? I just finished a review of a pair of speakers with 8" bass units. They had plenty of bass in my main listening room. After the review, I moved the speakers to a s...
Wisconsin - Anyone interested?
Why aren't people responding? Because Nrchy said no losers, so I just figured I was automatically disqualified ;-)
Wisconsin - Anyone interested?
I live in Green Bay and write for The Absolute Sound. I also have a very small audio message board at www.audioinsiders.com where myself and a few other friends hang out. You guys are welcome to stop by and say hello. It would really be nice to ge...
Wisconsin - Anyone interested?
I'm still interested, but never heard back from anyone.
Wisconsin - Anyone interested?
Okay, I suppose I can just stop back here every once in awhile to see what's going on. Good luck with your club.

I'm not sure I can make the first meeting, but would appreciate if someone could keep me updated as to future get-togethers. I live in Green Bay and my email is suekraft@new.rr.com Thanks!

Nilthepill - you are welcome to check out my new message board at www.audioenquirer.com. No female mudwrestling I'm afraid, but you can read all about Bob Crump's viagra soaked pointy things :-)

I'm thinking that maybe Angela was right and I need to lighten up a bit. Just trying to have a sense of humor.
minimonitor for Bat VK60 mono's?
BAT was using a small pair of System Audio speakers (on stands) at CES this year. I thought the sound was pretty impressive driven by one of their new integrated amps. You might want to call BAT for more info on the speakers or check out the web s...

I've never cared for catfights, but mudwrestling might be fun. How about it, Angela? I'll meet you over at my message board and we'll both take a mudbath together. Might be good for our skin :-)Hey, I actually do have a sense of humor :-) Maybe we...
Girl diagnoses & solves mechanical problem
Sorry if I am taking things too seriously, but I'd really like to see women get a little more respect in this hobby, so it makes it tough for me to joke around on these issues. Suppose I probably could stand to lighten up a bit sometimes. I'm alwa...
Girl diagnoses & solves mechanical problem
Angela, why pretend you can't do something just to make a man feel good about himself? How about doing it on your own and making you feel good about yourself? Guess I'm not very good at trying to figure out all these male-female type games.
Girl diagnoses & solves mechanical problem
Sorry Angela, I think the helpless female act is kind of annoying. What happens when there is no man around to "rescue" us? Sure would be nice to know how to change that flat tire then, wouldn't it? I have no problem asking for help when I need it...
Girl diagnoses & solves mechanical problem
Hey Sean -- Tenor claimed that somebody in customs must have opened up the bottom of the amp and yanked a few wires loose. Sounds kind of far-fetched but who knows. I just figured it wouldn't hurt to take a look before shipping the amps back to Ca...
Girl diagnoses & solves mechanical problem
I find this thread a little disturbing. Anyone (male or female) ought to be able to figure out how to unscrew a pair of tweeters. Doesn't take a rocket scientist. I repaired a Tenor amp when it showed up on my doorstep dead on arrival. Pretty easy...
