Surround Speaker Confusion with Denon Receiver
I have a 3803 (I think that's the number) and as I recall those additional two channels are there so you can switch between them and the 'regular' rear channels--the manual makes a distinction between movie and cd sound. I agree with those who say...
Placement of Paradigm SA-35 inwall speakers
Haven't tried it, but it makes sense
Best Place for Negative Reviews?
Big difference between the gon and AA re reviewing and offending advertisers. On AA anything goes. Here, the Moderator approves all. And if you slam one of their sponsors, your post never sees light of day. Audiogon has a business relationship wit...
Any one have Tetras
I have the Neon Tetras and they can hold their own in any tank..uh, any system.

Your system will sound great as you electrocute yourself!
Is vinyl still a "perfect" source?

Upgrade advice needed
Go for it. Speakers before electronics is a good bet in my opinion.
Monitors vs. Floorstanders - What an eye opener
Piano's can't be all that realistic with the frequency range you quoted. Unless you don't care much for what the left hand is doing. You may not need 20Hz but you need 32
Help: Order of importance: Pre, Amp, DAC, speakers
Speakers far and away.
One speaker is louder than the other
You've swapped um so you know it isnt your amp. You've run a mono source so you know the inputs are equal. Your old speakers had the same volume in the same positions, so it isn't the room. Capacitor/resistor would be in xover I guess so is it par...
