Tonal Balance of B&W 802 D3/D4 vs the D2 Generation Congrats on your 802 D2s! I purchased 803 D3s a few months ago and couldn't be happier. I don't notice a lean presentation, nor do they sound harsh to me. But, that is in a dedicated, acoustically treated listening room. Years ago, after I did al...
Too much power? "I have a wonderful system with a great amplifier." Stop. Do not pass go. You are there. Be happy. Peace...
Advice on Integrated Receiver The speakers are fine. I still own the MA Silver 8s in a second system. When they were in my main system I drove them with a Krell (150/300 W/ch) and a Vincent (also 150/300 w/ch).

Room size definition Another vote for the 804s. I LOVE my 803s in a 14x15 acoustically treated room.

Bi amp configuration...a mismatch? I have always been under the impression it is best to use identical amps when bi-amping.
Has anyone ever tried cables made with OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) Copper? Interesting thing about cables- you wouldn't think they could make a difference, but they do. A substantial difference in some instances. YMMV. |
