Need some help because my Tech broke my Harmonic Technology Cyberlight XLR
Jouri,   I've sent two messages.  Perhaps Audiogon is blocking them.  Try this: (1)  Post your system here on Audiogon.  Photos allowed. (2)  Are you a member of eBay?  Ebay allows photo sharing.  My eBay username is:  tweakmenow1
Amazon Prime ads making the site un-usable.
Computer users:   Brave browser is good. Turning off javascript on ANY browser, will also do the trick.
Need some help because my Tech broke my Harmonic Technology Cyberlight XLR
I own several pairs of the RCA Cyberlights.   I replaced the receiving end myself, with an Eichmann Technologies Bullet Plug.  More information came thru with this change.  I was thrilled to be honest. Could you take a photo of what actually need...
cheapest cable upgrade ever
tksteingraber's post motivated me to try this. A single battery was placed on the ends of all cables, including the power cord of the network switch. First thing I noticed was a reduced noise floor. Secondly, the system gravitated towards how...
I have had the ADD Powr Wizard in my system for a couple of weeks and I'm impressed
The Wizard has two ribbon cables. The many small pins on circuit boards get the NPS-Q45T treatment.
I have had the ADD Powr Wizard in my system for a couple of weeks and I'm impressed
I treated the ribbon cables, ac power to board, and fuse with High Fidelity Cables NPS-Q45T. Fantastic improvement!!!! I am also not using the metal top cover.
Shunyata Hydra idle current draw
A capacitor across the hot and neutral will show this "draw". (0.5 amps X 120v = 60w) Your Hydra is not using this current. If it was, that 60w would be turned into heat, warming the metal case of the Hydra nicely. I bet it is stone cold after bei...

Review: PS Audio HCA-2 Amplifier
After owning the HCA-2 for about a year, I did the complete "level one" mod myself. I let the amp burn-in for a full week, before listening. OMG... What a difference... I laugh when I think how this amp is rated class "A". With the mods, NOW it is...
subwoofer 19 by 18 room
Are you a DIY'er? I made my first infinite baffle subwoofer about two years ago, due to what people were saying concerning the QUALITY of the bass. The bass is EVERYTHING you could wish for!!! (and then some)It is very "different" than bass from a...
joy killing refridgerator
I have an Amana. The "standard procedure" is to reach inside and turn the temp knob to off. THEN I place something on the floor, right in front of the door, as a reminder. ......Peace......
If you only upgrade one component in HT what is it
Upgrade your source. I've gone from the Denon DVD-5900, to Oppo, to the Toshiba HD-XA2. The Toshiba is in ANOTHER league in regards to the upconverting ability of standard dvd's. The sound is better than the Denon also. Use the HDMI to your Mitsub...
voltage/polarity issues with isoclean transformer
Tbg, I have attached the wiring in the only manner possible for 120v operation.
voltage/polarity issues with isoclean transformer
My PT-3030G II reads 61.2v (ground to 0 output) 62.2v (ground to 117 output) for "balanced operation". One of those readings should be negative, but my testmeter did not show it.
Creative Cable, Silver Bullet, digital cable?
I had the Silver Bullet for almost two years. I tried on a whim the 12digital, and found it to be much more "alive" (and resolving) than the SB. I sold the SB... http://www.i2digital.com/splash.html
