Amp with a mind of it's own...

My amplifier shot two 12BZ7's across the room at the cat and thrashed the dog with a detached speaker cable. I ran to unplug it, at which point it asked, "Just what do you think you'e doing, Dave?"

I think it's trying to kill us all. What should I do?

Replace that oh-so-sophisticated (and expensive) aftermarket power cord you are undoubtedly using with the original manufacturer's supplied power cord -- all signs of sentience will, of course, immediately disappear. ;)
