Aurender n100h or n150

I’ve been overthinking because that’s what I do.
Trying to save money by getting the n100h. Im streaming to a Pontus DAC. (Original). I believe the dsp is upgraded to the Pontus II.
Is it possible and should I stream DSD with this equipment?

should I go for the n150 to future proof a bit better?

Hi @dahodevil, authorized Aurender dealer here. If you can swing it, try to purchase the N150. In addition to the hardware improvements that deliver improved sonic performance, the architecture of the N150 is completely different than that of the older N100H. The newer architecture allows for more modern features, such as being Roon Ready, and other future services that the N100H will never be able to support.

Also, keep in mind that when purchasing used, Aurender warranties are non-transferable, and the N100H has been out on the market long enough such that all of their warranties are expired. Aurender provides amongst the best customer service and support I’ve seen in high end audio, and if you ever get into any hiccups (remember, you are purchasing sophisticated electronics), they never hesitate to help make the experience better.

Happy to answer any more questions, either here on this thread or via private message. Feel free to get in touch if you want to know more about the different models.

+1

I own a N100H (which does sound great)… but have heard many different Aurrender and I own a Aurender W20SE. Bliss is correct.

I love my N200.   Aurender is built to a different standard. Built like a tank . Support is exceptional,  i only needed it twice.  They remotely accessed it and addressed the issue.

+1 to Juan at Bliss HiFi - he sold me my N150 and I am very happy with his service and advice.  Like you, I was deciding between the N150 and N100 and am glad I listed to Juan.  I agree, the N100 is getting a bit old.  When I compared the price used for a N150 to a new N150 from Bliss HiFi with a warranty, I felt it was worth it.  Call up Juan and discuss it with him.
