B&O 2000 replacement tone arm?

I bought a B&O 200 turntable on ebay  and disappointingly the seller made no effort to secure the tone arm, which has snapped off. The tone arm itself seems fine - but the thing it fits into and that connects to the part that swivels is broken - see photo. I am assuming this is not worth my while trying to fix - but wondered if anyone has any ideas? Does anyone sell spares? 

It also of course saddens me - these are great pieces of classic equipment and it is sad that people can be so thoughtless...
