B&W 802 Series 2 Replacement Woofers?

Hello, One of my woofers sounds fuzzy and distorted, but only at certain frequencies. Many times it sounds perfect, even at loud volumes. The B&W ZZ04316 replacement woofer is long gone and I've been trying to find one for a long time. I have access to new ZZ00272, which is the driver from the original Matrix 802. It has the same metal shape that is needed for the non-series 3 speakers. Does anyone know if this speaker is compatible? I know the correct one is 16 ohm, but don't have specs on the older unit.
