grado service reply to me about their Mono Cartridge
"Yes, the ME+ is compatible" (I asked about UA-7045 tonearm)
they did not give any specific compliance info.
Cartridge, Compliance, try what in my JVC UA-7082 Arm?

Joe Grado says OK for his Mono Cartridge ME+ with both JVC UA-7045 arm and Acos Lustre GST-801. "it should work just fine the compliance of the ME+ is 20cu" http://www.resfreq.com/resonancecalculator.html ...................... how do you compute from 20cu to _____ mu/mN??? |
found this. Is it about right? " The only way to accurately measure system resonance is with a calibrated low frequency test record and a chart recorder, or other sophisticated test equipment. Since most of us do not possess this capability, it is wise to do some preliminary homework in assessing the compatibility of any potential arm/cartridge combination. There are a few general "rules of thumb" that we need to consider:" |
