Computer updated and now Roon is blocked

for the future, make n explicit backup of your Roon settings.  All new installs ought to be fully "clean". Then import the settings form the backup to that clean version. You kinda neglected that important fact!

Glad to hear you were able reinstall Roon.  When running Revo uninstaller, by default, it will create a restore point (unless you deselected the box enabling the creation of a restore point).

One thing you might consider is doing a system restore to the date/time the restore point was created.  Doing so won’t delete/change any new files you may have created since running it (but will delete any new software, driver updates made since the uninstall).  It will just take the machine back to that configuration, including the corrupt copy of Roon.  There is no guarantee that doing this will bring back any or all of your playlists but it might be worth try.  Particularity since you know how to get it reinstalled.  Do the system restore, back up your playlists, run Revo again to uninstall Roon, reboot PC, reinstall Roon and then import your playlists.

To perform a system restore > type hear to search > sysdm.cpl > Enter key > enter admin creds if prompted > System Properties window opens > System Protection tab > System Restore button > choose Recommended restore (if the date/time are the same when you ran Revo) or select Choose a different restore point.
