I just did a search and came across a thread I started regarding Ethernet capable DACs. It looks like this is becoming more of a common thing. However, it looks like wired Ethernet is not the best choice in many DACs that offer it.
It seems that SFP Ethernet port is something that is better than the regular Ethernet port.
So far I have only been able to find the Lumin X1whic has a DAC with an SFP Ethernet input. Thus one can run a fiber optic cable from a supported Network Switch directly to the Lumin XI SFP connection. This is supposed to be less noisy compared to regular wired Ethernet.
The Lumin X1 only has Ethernet input and not any other digital input options. I prefer to have a few digital inputs.
So the question I am asking now is, what are some other DACs with an SFP input?
BTW - I did a search for SFP Ethernet on A'Gon and all the discussions were deleted.

The optical network connection (SFP or small form pluggable) links the Lumin to fibre channel devices, and also tends to be less noisy compared to conventional wired Ethernet networks.
