Harbeth P3ESR question (tongue in cheek (I think) but maybe not)

Harbeth P3ESR speakers' fronts are different.  One has the "Harbeth" to the left, the other to the right.  The back panels are the same.

To owners/auditioners, which way round do you use them?  Have you tried both ways? Is there any sonic effect?

I have always run mine with the "Harbeth" to the inside.

The Harbeth P3ESR speakers are not mirror-imaged, so it shouldn’t matter. Also, it's only on the grills, so you could swap the grills, if you can get them off, (use a magnet).

Being really OCD, I always put mine right on right, left on left cheeky

Every Harbeth that I have owned (many) has a R and L on the serial number. That would be the opposite of the way that you have them placed on your system profile. BTW, if you like the badges on the inside keep them like that!!

If you swap them, they will both be on the outside, I think that's how my 7's were.

OMG.  I have had them reversed for 15 years!

I had never looked at the serial number.

Now for critical listening. (Ha).

I do think they are an amazing speaker in such a small package.

Just moved them so that they are in the preferred orientation.

Do not hear any difference, but they DO look better with the name tag outside!
