Need a schematic for CAT SL1 Mark 3, or just a picture of the insides of unit

Here's my problem. I attempted to have this unit serviced by a local repairman. It was a small issue (the mute switch snapped off) and CAT wants a flat fee of $1500 plus ship to take care of the repair. That seemed like a nonstarter. The local repairman messed it up and now I need to take it to another repairman. The problem is that the first repairman failed to take a picture of the interior of my CAT before he started work, and the second repairman really wants a picture of what the original wiring looked like. I have no such photo. Does anyone out there who has the same preamp have a picture of its guts that you can send to me? It would be a great help. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you Noromance for the extra pictures. I don't know how a tech manages to fail at this task. I am hoping that the next audio tech can fix it up. When in good working order it is a very nice preamp.

I know it's not cheap, but I would only trust Ken Stevens with my CAT. He's a great guy and he can also do a thorough job checking everything and if you need or want updates.

You can search Convergent Audio Technology SL1 preamp schematic. You will get pictures.

For some reason Ken does not offer a schematic for his products. When i owned a ARC amp, it came with a schematic as part of the instruction manual. To me, this made a lot of sense. BUT I guess Ken has his reasons...and they will make it a lot more difficult/costly for owners once he has ceased his business, unless he deems it worthy to supply a schematic before that time comes.
