The energy doesn't go anywhere it's still right here in the universe. Hence the second law of thermodynamics. Energy is not created nor destroyed all that was in the universe in the beginning will be here at the end as random motion of atoms, complete entropy. Jesus what a rambling pile of  metaphysical crap.

    Nice food for thought there @rodman99999 . Passing onto another dimension instead of flat out disappearing gives me some solace. Maybe that bright light that's purported to be seen at our passing is just the tiniest of wormholes meant to accommodate our next move.
    Maybe only certain bodies can accommodate certain energies and all matter holds all energies, with ours being one of the highest orders of energies. 
     Animating these bodies is just the way things are done.

@rodman99999 , Dragon dictate. I got tired of trying to type. You talk to your computer and it types what you say. You have to include the punctuation but otherwise you use normal speech, perfect for an old physicist. 
I visited Newton's grave in Westminster Abby just before a British surgeon installed a Swedish artificial wrist in my right upper appendage.
The inscription in Latin says "Here lies that which was mortal of Isaac Newton." What was not was something else, like those you mentioned. 
Their invention, the atom bomb, just might save us from ourselves. Maybe there will come a time several thousand years in the future when we be able to deal with each other without it over our heads. Maybe not. 

For the record, I certainly do not mock the article.
My mocking is reserved for the creative 'word salad' that audio enhancement companies use when describing their secretive methods of manufacturing their products.
