I think $600 is way too high. The MG-11 was not a great speaker, very limited bass and rolled off in the highs. There were great improvements in the b and c versions. Pick up a pair of MMGs for a few hundred dollars, far better.

Probably somewhere around $600, if they’re in nice cosmetic condition and have no rattles(conductors that have come loose, from the Mylar/glue failure). Magnepan offers their new LRS, for slightly more than that. Though smaller; my guess is they would provide a much better presentation, than Maggies from the 70’s. https://www.magnepan.com/model_LRS |
