For a long time, I've had int amps or tube amps with volume controls and used a small source selector box, so it was more of a straight wire with gain. 

At the current time, I have just moved overseas to Israel & awaiting my gear that will hopefully be here in a couple of months.  I’ve gotten the British shoe box sized integrated amp bug and am awaiting a Meridian 551 & a Linn Majik I.
