SPENDOR SP100R2 vs QLN PRESTIGE 3

Spendor but I say that never having heard the QLN but that Spendor is a great speaker.

What will be driving them?

I heard the QLn recently and was underwhelmed.  Paired with a dark amplifier the sound was opaque and dull.  I might have liked them paired with a more neutral amp but doubtful. 

Spendors all the way.  

Late to this thread, but based on my love of the QLN Prestige 3, had to respond for anyone considering the brand. 

To the point: the QLN Prestige, in my humble opinion, is a wonderful speaker. It’s a little laid back, which makes day long listening sessions a joy. I’ve auditioned Spendor speakers, but they never connected with me compared to the QLNs. 
 

I know many on this forum have that appetite to upgrade and chase that “perfect sound” as illusory as that obsession is, but I have zero desire to seek another speaker, ever. Amps? Dacs? Music servers? Speaker cables? Absolutely.
