Steve Kimock W/ Robert Walter

Experienced the current Steve Kimock band with Kimock on guitars, Robert Walter on keys, Rodney Holmes on drums and Reed Mathis on bass at the Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC last night. If you enjoy instrumental power funk, fusion rock ie Galactic,Soulive, Lettuce etc. Do Not miss these guys when they come around within driving distance. Very fresh, imaginative vibes with alot of interest. It was a very memorable concert event. GO SEE THEM! ......;^)

Downloads of very recent Kimock shows as well as other groups can be had for a fee at DigitalSoundboard.netCheers and happy listening!
IMO Eudemonic is a fantastic release, and if you like it, you might also like some of the early Harvey Mandel like Christo Redentor and Baby Batter.

To Rlwainwright: Interesting choices, just recently got into Weider and have been a long time fan of Jim Thomas (Mermen). He plays a regular gig near me with the Shitones, which was a pre Mermen group.
Correct me if I am wrong on this one....but I think that Steve Kimock also was playing with Bobby Wier's Rat Dog
Steve's been a favorite of mine for several years. The band is tight and the musicianship is excellent. You can grab quite a few free (and *legal*), very high-quality, shows of theirs from Archive.org/Audio

Also, if you like Kimock, you may be inclined to enjoy these groups:

1) New Monsoon
2) Tea Leaf Green
3) Jim Weider Band
4) The Mermen (!!)
5) Jazz Is Dead

All of these bands can be found on the Archive.

Good luck and happy listening!
