Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

Evolvist -- ask Dave to let you hear "my" speaker. He'll know what you mean.
Hey evolvist,

The Role speakers are great small floor-stander at producing low bass and sound-staging, however the DI's are in a different league overall.
teajay,

Very nice article that was well written,

Gets me motivated to sale off some extra gear in my collection,I can't keep everything, and get a pair of the Eml 300b Xls tubes for my Yamamoto A09s.

Kenny.

I am interested in DI. Is any owner living in Chapel Hill/Durham/Raleigh area who can allow a demo?

As I listen tonight, I still have the Modwright Oppo going direct to the Benchmark AHB2 and can it be getting better? The sound now has bumped up a notch. Maybe these speakers continue to improve over the first few hundred hours but they sound unbelievable tonight. For those of you who are SS fans, I can highly recommend the AHB2 to take full command of the drivers in the DI's. I will eventually go back to the LTA amps for further comparison. I have no doubt about the ability of these speakers to out perform the 20K competition.
