Topping Centaurus R2R $800

Topping has introduced the Centaurus R2R DAC for $800.  It appears to be loaded with features and is a collaboration with HOLO AUDIO. Will this DAC be the giant killer? Only time will tell.

Spec wise on the PCM side, the THD+N of -106 dB is identical to Holo Cyan 2. However, this thing has oversampling mode to choose from and is cheaper than Cyan 2.  I will wait for the reviews and availability in Amazon.

They're now claiming that the $799 price was due to a miscommunication, and that the US retail price is actually $999.

His first impression of the Topping R2R dac is good...  Good sign.  Detailed review and comparison with Harmony and LTA Aero is coming up.  This might be it.
