Use of Component Video Cables as IC's or Digital Cable

they are both 2 and 3 meters

Everything I’ve seen says they should be fine for analog interconnects … they are designed to be high bandwidth and 75 ohm … maybe even better than ‘audio’ interconnects.
Not so sure about using as digital interconnect. Interested in others’ comments.

peeled them apart, got 3 pairs of 6' long interconnects, each pair a distinct color locking connector, just mark both ends of one for +, I use red tape.

they sound great, and locking connectors averts inadvertent movement.

I have a few sets of these laying around from earlier (pre-hdmi) video days. Will use them on some vintage stacks when I run out of my regular interconnects.

Do you know their copper quality? I have old ones, I'm not sure, so I went for new 6 nines copper, locking rca connectors, and for $46. got 3 pairs, different color coded connectors, i.e. $16./pair. two of these:

I'm very happy with having locking rca connectors, many times a cable inadvertently moves while doing something else. These locking ones I bought, the threads moving the outer pressure barrel, are nice looking, not super fine manufacturing like expensive ones, but the price reflects that, they definitely do the job of locking the fine quality conductor/connector in place.
